This is a very popular question. 🙂 I typically don’t set release dates until I have the first draft of a book finished. If you’d like to see the current word count progress on the Judgement books and the Companion novels, check out the pinned post on the Judgement of the Six Facebook fan page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/557555357651686/

If you’re following me on social media, you might have noticed posts mentioning real life putting a hold on my author life. My daughter was hit by a car in spring. Sometimes, life happens and things need to be put aside to take care of those we love. The delay is in no way meant to disrespect to my faithful readers…it’s just life.

I’ve loved every book so far, including your stand alone ones. Characters are very likable, the story flows nicely. Even the typos for the “kindle” are not that bad. You must have such fun in developing the characters and seeing where they will take you within the story.

Keep up the brilliant work and hurry up with book 6!

I started reading this series little over two weeks ago. I’m so transfixed by this story and each girl’s journey. This series is one of the best if read: the characters you’ve built are truly captivating, the world you have created enthralling and the issues you raise inspiring. I can’t wait to read more of the journey. Until then I shall be eagerly anticipating it’s release whilst having judgement withdrawals.

I have been waiting for Emmett’s treasure to be on Google play.It was supposed to be available on July 4,but today’s July 5 and it’s still not out. When will it be coming to Google play?

    Reply
    • Melissa Haag

Hi, Arianna! Due to the pirating of books uploaded to Google Play books and Google Play’s pricing policies, which cause issues with other retailer sites, I’m holding off on adding any further books to Google Play. 🙁

I make every effort to widely distribute my books to the retailers sites readers use so I can make everyone’s reading experiences convenient. So, it’s a bummer that Google Play isn’t updating their platform to resolve either issue.

Although I know it’s not ideal, consider using an alternative platform (kindle app, kobo, etc) to download Emmitt’s book.

    Dear Ms Haag

Thank you so much for your books, i really enjoy them a lot. I love your writing style and how the stories flow. Thank you for showing the world strong women who also do not feel the need to push strong men down just to prove their strength. Thank you for writing about how love makes us stronger and better together.

Please never stop creating worlds into which i can escape through any form of self doubt.

I lost two little cousins in a car accident a week ago and would like to say i am keeping your family and your daughter in my prayers to whichever god is listening and willing to heal with love.

Lots of love from South Africa. Xx

I know you’re probably really tired of answering this question. But, my question is slightly different. Are you sure the 6th book is coming out this summer? I read what happened to you daughter and hope she’s feeling better. It stinks to break any bone in your body, but a leg is sometimes worse because you’re confined to crutches, a wheelchair, or a walker, all of which can be really hard to get around in.

    Reply
    • Melissa Haag

It’s not coming this summer, but this fall (I really need to stop changing this date, don’t I…). I realized that a summer release would mean a rush job writing it. And I didn’t want to do that to you guys. The final book deserves more time to make it as awesome as possible so we can say goodbye to the characters we’ve grown to love.

My daughter is feeling better. She had surgery on her deaf ear and is able to hear again! She won’t know the full extent of hearing loss/recovery until they test her. But any hearing is better than no hearing. Thanks for asking!
