My life as it is

Some of you may be wondering what’s happening and why I’m not releasing as many books.  Well, I’m still releasing the 4-6 a year I always have, but I have four names under which I’m releasing now.

Melissa Haag – YA Paranormal/Fantasy Romance (primarily focusing on characters under the age of 18)
MJ Haag – Adult Fantasy Romance (Fairy Tales and Zombies, separately, of course. I’m not an animal.  Primarily focuses on characters aged over 18)
Sage Alder – Adult Sci-Fi Romance (Increasingly spicy books that my mom should probably stop reading)
Melissa Nicole – Adult Paranormal/Fantasy Romance (primarily focusing on characters and 23-30)

In addition to writing like crazy, I’m also sending my oldest son off to college this fall and preparing the youngest for senior year.  This mama is busy, so some things may slip between the cracks.  That’s life.  It happens.  Rather than stress about it and give myself another ulcer that requires me to go under, I’m going to pull a Frozen and let it go.  Hope you can too!

Meanwhile, make sure you’re caught up on what I’ve realized so far.

What I’m working on next

Based on the last newsletter poll, you all wanted something new, which is what I’ve done.  😀  You can find a completely new shifter series under Melissa Nicole.  Why a new name?  Because these books are for characters over the ages of 18 while Melissa Haag will continue to focus on under 18 characters.

See me in person!

I’m confirmed to attend two signings next year! Both are in Illinois.

Writers On The River Peoria IL
Romantic Galena Reads Group Galena IL

WOTR is an absolutely lovely event in a room packed with amazing authors.

RGR is new to me, and I’m excited to see what Ladies Getaway Weekend in Galena looks like. (It’s a real thing! Look it up!)

Tickets for both events are now available.
